News coming in from Norway is suggesting that the 93 metre Eos has been damaged by fire over the weekend.
The yacht built by Lurrsen is the third largest sailing yacht in the world. Owned by TV station proprietor Barry Diller and his fashion designer wife Diane von Furstenberg.
Fifteen fire fighters from Oslo’s fire and rescue service attended the blazing yacht as she lay at anchor and stayed at the scene for over five hours
The fire was reported under control at 2015 local time and no one was reported as injured
Reportedly the superstructure suffered serious damages but the cause of the fire still remains unknown.
