Famous for its rugged ocean going heritage, tried and tested engineering, safety and design practicality Nordhavn Europe, the ultimate trawler yacht specialist, has released detailed 3D renderings for its new N59 Coastal Pilot, a versatile new model.
The new Coastal Pilot is designed to build on the group’s reputation for building the finest passage making trawler yachts in the world, with a model tailored specifically towards the many customers who spend more time cruising coastlines than crossing oceans.
Its semi displacement hull will enable it to cruise at modest top speeds in the 18-20 knot range in more friendly conditions, while still maintaining the capability to comfortably make long offshore passages of 1,000+ miles at slower speeds.
The vessel will carry a “CE – Category A” unlimited offshore rating.
The new detailed renderings give a clear snapshot of the generous accommodation, luxurious living area and practical layout that the Coastal Pilot will offer, with all the top quality equipment and installations needed for a comfortable life on board.
Its lower helm station offers a more sociable option for coastal cruising couples, and it’s well set up for entertaining larger groups too, with a large fly bridge providing seating for up to 12 people.
The hull molds for the Coastal Pilot have now been produced at the group’s South Coast factory in Xiamen, China, and plans are on track for the first hull to lay up by the end of February
