Hot on the heels of Y.CO’s migration to a new single letter web address using www.y.co, the yacht services company Y.CO has hit upon another Internet marketing ploy.
They have launched their own App designed especially for the Apple iPad and modelled on the hugely successful in house only app they have been using among themselves.
It aims to increase interaction between broker and potential clients on the move and in doing so enhance the experience of yachting.
Information on each yacht includes high-resolution pictures and specifications, which will be updated in real time with new additions to the fleet.
Users will also be able to register with Y.CO and then save yachts to their favourites list, to be stored and reviewed at a later date – both online and offline
Speaking about the app Charlie Birkett, one of the founding partners and now the CEO at Y.CO, told us: “The app is a great way for users who are constantly on the move to view the incredible selection of yachts available for sale or charter. The visual element really brings the yachts to life and will help clients to visualise the experience they will have on board. We are confident that clients and prospective clients will find this a useful tool.”
