New Monte Fino Motoryachts on Schedule for Autumn European Debut

The European importer for the Monte Fino range of luxury motoryachts, has announced that the first two of its latest models – the upgraded 76 and ecHo 85 – will be arriving in Europe at the end of the year in time for the start of the 2013 boat show season.

These latest designs use the combined skills of UK naval architect Rob Humphreys (Ermis², Oyster Yachts, TEMPUS) and Italian interior designer Giorgia Drudi (formerly of Ferretti) to create stylish semi-custom motoryachts that cater to the specific requirements of European owners.

The semi-displacement Monte Fino 76 has evolved since its introduction in 2009, and now has an all-new interior designed for warm water cruising together with a number of enhancements to the exterior styling of the flybridge.  The first of the new ecHo 85 model will also be exhibiting contemporary European styling inside, but her purposeful design remains in keeping with her status as a genuine long-range eco-yacht, as characterised by her easily driven hull, low emissions and a full range of recycling and low-energy systems.

The specification on both models include stabilisers fitted as standard as well as the installation of sophisticated management systems including the Moritz Aerospace Octoplex multiplexed power management and monitoring system and Maretron N2KView Vessel monitoring and control software.  Esthec composite decking has been selected as representing the future of environmentally-friendly hardwood alternatives.

The shipyard currently has 14 projects in build, including four superyachts of over 30-metres.  Recent investment at the yard has included the opening of a slipway capable of taking yachts up to 80-metres for repair and refit, and the facilities are to be expanded further to accommodate new-builds of 40-metres plus.
