The 20th Dubai International Boat Show, opens next week here in Dubai.
To mark the event’s 20th anniversary the organisers have set up a raffle so that visitors to the show located inside the International Marine Club, Mina Seyahi will have the opportunity to sail off in their own boat.
Top prize is an 8 metre fishing boat built by local boat builder, Al Shaali Marine
Helal Saeed Almarri, the chief executive of the Dubai World Trade Centre, the shows organiser said, “This Dh250,000 (£43,000) boat will be given to one lucky visitor to the show.”
A total of 430 boats will be on display at the show, ranging from small craft to superyachts, and more than 750 companies from 46 countries are taking part.
The event runs from next Tuesday to Saturday and is admission costs Dh60 (£10) a person.
