Having purchased the Mediterranean superyacht marina Port Tarraco Marina located in Tarragona, Spain from International Marina Tarragona S L, a Spanish marina operator for an undisclosed some we now learn that the experienced firm of Managers Mourjan Marinas IGY have been commissioned to re-energise Port Tarraco using a newly focused marketing strategy
The purchase was made recently when Qatari Diar working in conjunction with MB92 took control.  MB92 will hold a 5% stake in the venture.
The marina comprises of 64 berths for boats between 30m and 160m LOA, 9m draught and 140m length waiting dock.  Michael Horrigan, CEO of Mourjan Marinas IGY said,
“Port Tarraco is somewhat of a ‘hidden gem’ here in the Mediterranean.”

The marina’s positioning and deep-water access clearly differentiates the facility from other marinas in the vicinity, however in the past there has been little proactive communication of this valuable offering.
He added, “We are delighted to have been commissioned to drive the global marketing effort for the marina and by working alongside the new owners  we are extremely confident that we can encourage more vessels to utilise the facility and enjoy what the beautiful area of Tarragona has to offer.”
Port Tarraco will be the first European marina to benefit from Mourjan Marinas IGY’s expertise. The company is internationally recognised for its monumental success in developing, transforming and managing luxury marinas in the Middle East.
