Lürssen has launched the family focused, 117-metre superyacht Boardwalk at its German shipyard. The yacht was conceived as a private family retreat.
Although unconfirmed, industry reports link the project to American billionaire Tilman Fertitta.
Owner Background and Business Empire
Fertitta is a prominent US businessman and television personality. He previously served as United States ambassador to Italy.

Forbes has described him as the world’s richest restaurateur. He owns Landry’s, a hospitality group with more than 600 venues.
He also owns the Houston Rockets NBA franchise.
Classic Styling with Owner-Led Vision
The yacht reflects traditional proportions and classic exterior lines. Frank Woll and Amy Halffman’s studios created the design.
The owner played an active role throughout development. He influenced layout planning, circulation flow and overall styling decisions.
Lifestyle Amenities and Deck Spaces
Boardwalk offers expansive deck areas designed for entertainment and relaxation. Amenities include a large gym and a putting green.

The yacht also features two helipads. One sits forward on the guest deck and carries full certification.
Final Works Ahead of Delivery
The yacht will now remain at Lürssen’s outfitting pier. The shipyard will complete final works ahead of a planned 2026 delivery.
Previous Boardwalk Listed for Sale
Fertitta’s current yacht, also named Boardwalk, remains on the brokerage market. She carries an asking price of US$192 million.

The 76.5-metre Feadship launched in 2021. De Voogt designed her exterior, while Amy Halffman created the interiors.
Key features include a spa, gym, helipad and a large beach club with pool.
