Crystal Cruises has announced major milestones for its first new ship in 25 years, marking a new era for the brand.
Construction begins with steel cutting in May 2026, followed by keel laying in December 2026 with delivery scheduled for May 2028.
This new build is also Crystal’s first under the ownership of Abercrombie & Kent Travel Group (AKTG).
Commitment to Craftsmanship and Innovation
Behind the scenes, teams have worked tirelessly on every detail, from design to innovation. These milestones represent more than progress—they show our shared commitment with Fincantieri to deliver the world’s most exceptional ship.”
The ship’s name, suite details, and inaugural voyages will be announced later this year.
Bookings for the 2028 inaugural season will open next spring, with a waitlist available beforehand.
Legacy Continues
For over 30 years, Crystal has been synonymous with exceptional, award-winning voyages. When A&K Travel Group acquired the brand in 2022, it revived Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony, ushering in the “Exceptional at Sea” era.

The partnership between Crystal and Abercrombie & Kent now delivers unmatched experiences—both at sea and onshore—through bespoke excursions and curated travel itineraries.
Luxury and Innovation
Crystal Cruises continues to redefine luxury cruising through innovation, craftsmanship, and personal service. Their reimagined ships showcase larger, refined suites with artisanal finishes and nearly a one-to-one crew-to-guest ratio.
Guests can enjoy Casino de Monte-Carlo at Sea, created in partnership with Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer (SBM).

Dining highlights include Umi Uma, the only Nobu restaurant at sea, and Beefbar Ocean, a collaboration with restaurateur Riccardo Giraudi.
The ships also feature the Aurōra Spa, offering advanced wellness treatments, and Broadway-quality entertainment. Every voyage reflects Crystal’s legacy of elegance, comfort, and impeccable service.
