Europe’s largest river cruise operator, CroisiEurope, has announced three new Amazon itineraries starting in 2027. These journeys will run aboard the luxury 32-guest vessel Brasilian Dream and focus on eco-tourism.
Each itinerary explores a different facet of the Amazon. Guests will travel along the Rio Negro, the Tapajós River, and even reach the Colombian border. CroisiEurope promises high-end comfort, encounters with indigenous communities, and close-up views of tropical wildlife.

Along the Amazon & the Rio Negro
This ten-night round trip from Manaus reaches rarely visited regions, including Jaú National Park and the Anavilhanas archipelago. Guests can join forest walks, sunrise boat trips, and spot dolphins, monkeys, caimans, and tropical birds. They will also learn about indigenous medicinal plants and visit stilted villages and floating markets. Departures run January to August 2027, priced from £4,756 per person.
The Gentle Amazon & the Tapajós River
This ten-night cruise sails between Santarém and Manaus. Guests will explore the Tapajós and Arapiuns rivers, both famous for white sandbanks and clear waters. Excursions include encounters with artisanal communities and observations of giant trees, stingless bees, and colourful birds. Departures take place in September, October, and December 2027. Prices start at £4,756 per person.
The Original Amazon
This ten-night itinerary runs between Manaus and Tabatinga, reaching Brazil’s borders with Colombia and Peru. Guests will visit the Mamirauá Reserve and discover rare wildlife such as Uacari monkeys, herons, caimans, and pink dolphins. The journey also features encounters with the Ticuna people and insights into their shamanic traditions. Departures in April and May 2027 are priced from £5,782 per person.

Aboard Brasilian Dream
All three cruises take place aboard the 32-guest Brasilian Dream. The four-deck ship showcases wood interiors, vibrant colours, and Amazon-inspired crafts. Sixteen suites include private balconies, with two presidential suites suspended between sky and water.
