Three different Yachts Offering Exclusive Expeditions

Three different yachts are offering exclusive expeditions while sailing in Indonesia.

Extending over 5,000 km from east to west, and over 1,700 km north to south, Indonesia’s 15,000 plus islands make up the largest archipelago in the world.

The nation’s micro-climates make conditions that are suitable for sailing Indonesia all year-round. Indonesia is one of the most pristine and preserved tropical destinations in the world, ideal for travelers looking for a dream vacation replete with scuba diving experiences, beachside sunset dinners, world-class surfing, viewing rare animal species, and beyond.

The itineraries include experiences that are otherwise rare and exclusive for most travellers to Indonesia.

Run Island

Run Island, where there was a battle between English and Dutch settlers back in the 17th century. To come to an end to the war, The English decided to swap the island with New York City, once named New Amsterdam, where the English eventually settled, with the Dutch receiving Run Island.
Arborek Island, a charming destination in the Raja Ampat archipelago, is home to a small village of around 200 residents who rely on sustainable fishing.

Visitors can dive or snorkel in the crystal-clear waters to witness manta rays and then stroll through the village to meet the friendly locals and purchase handmade crafts.

Moyo Island

Moyo Island is an island mostly uninhabited and unknown to the majority of tourists where both Queen Elizabeth and Lady Diana visited many years ago. The island is also known as one of the world’s biggest epicenters for whale shark watching.

Mutiara Laut

One of the three different yachts is Mutiara Laut. A 46-metre (150-foot) classic Two-Mast Schooner she is replete with seven cabins.

She carries an onboard chef, adventure sports facilities and five-star amenities. The yacht offers sailing Indonesia itineraries on week-long excursions to Raja Ampat and other spectacular destinations in Indonesia’s Flores Sea.

Mutiara Laut translates as ‘Pearl of The Sea’ in Indonesian.

Celestia

Celestia is a Luxury Phinisi Yacht. She offers chartered excursions and itineraries to Indonesia’s Komodo National Park for 2024. Launched in 2023, the 45 metre Celestia features seven cabins and ensuite bathrooms. She was designed to provide a new way to experience some of Earth’s most sought-after destinations. These include Raja Ampat, Komodo, Alor and the Spice Islands.

Celestia offers guests a tailored experience with bespoke itineraries, with private charter trips ranging from 3-7 nights in the Komodo area to 7-14 nights in other regions of the Coral Triangle.

Aliikai’s abundant comfortable living spaces, size, and sailing capabilities make it one of Indonesia’s most sought-after phinisi.
