CRO.Y.A Announces Inaugural Charter Yacht Show in Split.

Back in Split again

CRO.Y.A the newly formed Croatian Yachting Association is to hold its inaugural event.  The CRO.Y.A Charter Show will take place in the city of Split.  It will run from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th October 2024.

The timing of this B2B event has taken into consideration the Nautical Festival.  It will be

held in the city during October. The show will form an official part in the festival.

October is an excellent time to find yourself in Split.  The city has a fascinating history, impressive architecture that includes Diocletian’s Palace.  It is one of the six UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Croatia.  The tantalizing Dalmatian cuisine is another good reason to visit.

The aim of the CRO.Y.A Charter Show is to present the finest crewed charter yachts available for charter in Croatia. It will shine the spotlight on the multitude of cruising destinations and attractions that the country has to offer.

Contribution

The contribution of such an event to the promotion of Croatia as a premier cruising destination is bound to be significant.  As such, CRO.Y.A has the honour of organising the Show in partnership with the Croatian National Tourist Board. It does so under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and Sport.  And with the strong support of the local authorities, both town and county.

Attending yachts will be a mix of motor yachts, sailing yachts, motor sailers and Gulets. The majority being based in Croatia. These yachts are fully crewed and belong to the luxury segment of the industry. This will provide attendees with the opportunity to visit and appraise a wide range of vessels. It gives visitors the chance meet the Captains and crew and sample the culinary offerings of the yacht chefs.

In other words, they will be able to form their own informed opinion, which is priceless when guiding the choices of charter guests.

Chefs’ competition

During the event, a chefs’ competition will be held that will challenge participating chefs to present an innovative approach to Croatian cuisine and it will be organised by Mike Jennings, a Michelin-trained chef.
