A brand new British built superyacht is seeking a new owner before building is completed.
London based brokerage firm Burgess has announced the technical launch of Project Fox. She is getting ready for a new owner ahead of the summer season.
Final phase
The brand new 34.9m Pendennis-built explorer will now enter her final phase comprising commissioning, and final outfitting. Sea trials will precede an expected delivery for May 2024.
Designed by Q London, Project Fox presents a rare opportunity to purchase a brand-new yacht ahead of the busy Mediterranean summer season. The 34.9m yacht is modest in size. But her vast 103.5sqm aft deck is the sort of space you would generally find on that of much larger yachts. Her bright interior accentuates the feeling of space on board too. Helped by the 7.7 metre beam.
Project Fox falls into several categories that will make any owner proud. Firstly, her layout lends itself to a harmonious charter. The full beam main deck master suite and a further four ensuite cabins two of which can be converted into twins. This allows for a charter party of friends to feel comfortable in any of the cabins. Whilst the giant aft deck will be the focal point for socialising.
Built for an adventure
Secondly, Project Fox is built for an adventure. She would be perfectly at home cruising the fjords of Norway, transiting the jungle-lined Amazon. Or equally sitting shoreside in the Italian Riviera.
Her amenities range include a DJ deck to space that will carry two 7.5m tenders. Plus a whole host of toys that could include quad bikes, ATV’s and even a sub, should the new owner wish.
Inside, chevron oak flooring offers a beach house vibe. Whereas outside the Tesumo deck is a unique teak substitute. It has the same properties as the real thing, without the sustainability issues.
Excited to see her
Ian Sherwood, Burgess broker has been with project since inception and is excited to see her out of the shed. ‘This marks a real milestone in the development of this brand new yacht,” he said. “And it is great to see her out on the water. Here you can truly appreciate the juxtaposition between her size and capability.
Comparing her to other yachts in the 35m range she offers the flexibility to be mission specific for each and every adventure. This is invaluable for a dynamic owner.
Sherwood added, ‘I see the new buyer as someone who is ready for a brand new custom yacht now. Rather than having to wait the three or maybe four years to do it themselves. Project Fox will be ready to cruise from May onwards. Making her an attractive proposition for a brand new owner to make lifelong memories this summer.’
