Always a favourite of ours since we first visited in 1993 we returned recently and find the resort has grown from strength to strength seemingly unchanged yet remaining perfectly in tune with the 2020’s
East Winds beach is set in a natural, private bay, unmanicured but beautifully maintained.
The sea is warm all year round and the natural setting allows guests to feel that they have a private beach all their own.
With beach gazebos offering shade through the hottest part of the day, comfortable sunbeds and a beach drinks service, there is no need to move away from your book, exploring the coral reefs or learning a new water sports skill.
At the end of a perfect day, stay where you are to watch the sunset with cocktail in hand and allow your mind to drift as you benefit from the restorative sounds of the sea.
Pool
The pool at East Winds is close to the beach, restaurant and bars and surrounded by a stunning tropical garden.
Renovated in September 2017 the pool is the perfect spot to relax, swim, watch hummingbirds go about their busy business and socialise with friends while making the most of the self-service swim up bar.
The pool remains at a very comfortable 28˚C all year round, with gentle steps into the pool and comfortable stools to sit and have a drink without ever leaving the water.
And if you prefer to be served rather than help yourself, a drinks service goes on throughout the day to make sure you have everything you need.
Spa
The Philosophy behind the East Winds Garden Spa is to stay at one with nature. In our beautiful and ancient tropical garden, we grow many medicinal plants and herbs.
At East Winds, they clearly care about the environment and avoid using any harsh chemicals on your skin, preferring instead to focus on natural organic treatments using ingredients from the environment around us to relax, rejuvenate and energise you. Both inside, and out.
