Event organiser of the Kata Rocks Superyacht Rendezvous (KRSR), Infinite Luxury, is expecting to welcome an all-star fleet exceeding last year’s line-up of 17 participating yachts.
Designed to bring like-minded people together from a personally curated guest list that features Kata Rocks villa owners, superyacht owners, and UHNW individuals interested in yachting and luxury lifestyle, industry professionals, the event has an influential mix of international and regional lifestyle, luxury travel and yachting media.
Those coming to Phuket for KRSR 2017 from 8 to 10 December include Feadship‘s majestic 70-metre Lady Christine, the largest yacht in attendance and venue for Feadship’s private owners’ cocktail party.
Designed by De Voogt with an interior by Rodney Black Design Studios, she will cut an impressive wake across the Andaman Sea off Kata beach.
Joining her will be global superyacht brand Burgess‘ 51-metre Northern Sun and the iconic 45-metre Latitude the Vripack explorer. Built at Russia’s Timmerman yard Latitude was designed by Vripack with interiors by Bannenberg and Rowell across five luxurious staterooms. Boat Lagoon Yachting is also set to showcase the 32-metre Princess Suavage with its magnificent salon and en-suite staterooms.
Fans of traditional sailing yachts will be impressed to see the 52-metre luxury Phinisi Schooner Zen. Two other classic sailing yachts will join her, the privately owned 30-metre Dallinghoo Schooner and Northrop & Johnson’s 27-metre schooner Orient Pearl.
Northrop & Johnson is also set to showcase four other impressive yachts, including the 30-metre MY Dolce Vita, 32-metre MY Aquarius, 20-metre MY Chowa and plus the ultra-sleek Zeelander Z44.
Other participating yachts include Lee Marine‘s Ferretti 850 and two Monte Carlo yachts. They will be joined by the recently unveiled MY Sunseeker Manhattan 66, Lee Marine’s Atari VI, 24-metre Lady Katherine, Azimut 64, and a Princess 60.
This year it includes a Superyacht cruise, gourmet beach BBQ at The Surin Phuket, ‘big boy’s toys’ presented by Sea-Doo, owners’ dinner, sunset cocktail receptions and the highly anticipated Charter Season Opening party.
