With easy access from Napoli international airport and Salerno’s own executive airport, Marina D’Arechi is attracting yacht owners who see it as a destination in its own right.
The 1,000 berth marina has capacity for 65 superyachts ranging from 30 – 100 metres, in two very well sheltered basins.
Little wonder then that following an investment of 120 million euros the marina standing at the gateway of the UNESCO world heritage Amalfi coastline is expecting to see a busy season in 2017.
Offering close proximity to many historical hot-spots such as Capri, Ischia, Positano, Ravello, Paestrum and Pompeii, the Marina is characterised by its impressive sweeping 1.2Km breakwater constructed out of mosaic fitted natural rock and arched restaurant buildings, designed on the concept of a nautical island bridged to the mainland.
Safety and security for superyachts and their important guests is a priority and features a control tower, video and remote surveillance systems, electronically controlled access, round-the-clock security, ISPS procedures and a widespread fire prevention system.
On a broader and reassuring level, the area has recently become one of the first ‘heart safe’ ports. This means that a semi automatic defibrillator is on-site with qualified staff available at all times, to react appropriately in emergencies encompassing life-saving cardiac and respiratory drills for children and adults alike.
The harbour offers 340,000 square metres of manoeuvring area within the confines of the specially designed outer entrance together with all the electricity, water and sanitation facilities, fuel dispensers and Helipad you would expect from a superyacht docking facility. Attached to the marina is a full service
shipyard with a 220 ton travel lift comprehensive repair and maintenance services available.
A limited number of berths are exclusively for sale on an 80 year foreshore leasehold.
