Arthur Brouwer appointed CEO of Heesen Yachts

Coming to the superyacht industry with experience in retail, automotive wholesale and production Arthur Brouwer is to step up to take position of CEO at Heesen Yachts.

But Brouwer is no stranger to the company because has been serving as Executive Chairman since September 2014.

Using his past experiences that have enabled him to acquire knowledge of the sales and marketing, strategy his aim moving forward is to capitalise and build on what has previously been achieved by the yacht builder since it was sold to Russian investors taking it to the next chapter of its history.

Founded by Frans Heesen in 1978 in Oss, Heesen Yachts became the first Dutch shipyard to employ aluminium for the yacht hulls.

In 1992 the company expanded to include the construction of displacement yachts, and today it delivers superyachts within the 34 – 75 metres size range, and beyond.

In 38 years it has delivered over 170 yachts.
