The Superyacht Scholarship is a brand new global opportunity for someone to scoop up a top prize of worth more than €6,700 towards training for a new career in superyachting.
Every year hundreds of hopeful young people come to Antibes, France to try and get their big break and work as crew onboard a luxury superyacht.
They often spend thousands of euros on their training, accommodation and travel expenses in the hope of succeeding but not everyone makes it.
Now four new scholarship places aim to provide entry level training courses and all the certificates they need, to give them the best possible chance of success in career in yachting.
One scholarship winner will also receive an extra €7000 worth of awards including a €1500 return flight from their home country.
Anyone, no matter where in the world they come from, aged 21-30 can apply for the scholarship the only precondition being that must be fluent English.
Applicants should apply for the grant between 1st January and 15th February 2016 and those selected will find out that they have been chosen during a live webinar which will be held in early March 2016. Numerous spot prizes will be awarded to those who attend live on the call.
