Nick Dean, Managing Partner of Ocean Independence has accepted the role of Course Director for a distance learning Diploma in Superyacht New Builds.
The course is run by The Maritime Training Academy consists of 10 modules and is designed to enhance project management skills at each stage of the build process.
With over 37 years’ in the yachting industry Nick has amassed extensive experience in sale and purchase, yacht charter, management and new build supervision.
As a Board Member of MYBA, Nick has been integral in the development and revision of their sale and purchase and charter agreements.
He is also a founder member of the recently formed LYBRA.
In 2005, Nick joined forces with great friend and professional associate, Peter Hürzeler, to form Ocean Independence as joint Managing Partners.
The Diploma in Superyacht New Builds commences 1st October 2015 and enrolment is now open.
