In September this year the Monaco Yacht Show will look somewhat different to the way it has in years gone by.
Building work in the area usually occupied by the Darse Nord tent has caused the show organisers to rethink their plan and it has not been achieved easily.
Construction work building underground car parks close to the harbour is expected to disrupt the shows traditional format for the next four events and many exhibitors were unhappy with the first solutions.
Now the revised layout of the exhibitor tents has been finalised
Two new tents will be erected to house most of the exhibitors of the former Darse Nord tent. Quai Antoine A tent will offer 400m2 of space while Quai Antoine B tent has a floor area of 2,425m2.
The show this year will accommodate even more yachts than last.
The Monaco Yacht Show, the Yacht Club de Monaco and the Société d’Exploitation des Ports de Monaco, have agreed the show will offer three berths alongside Quai Rainier III where cruise ships usually berth will be made available for yachts over 100m (328ft) in length a move that brings this years on water yacht capacity to 121.
