Renowned in the sailing world as one of the Caribbean’s best sailing competitions, Antigua Sailing Week started in 1967 with just 10 boats, now it includes up to 200.

With an impressive daily schedule of races, including boats and yachts of all classes, the regatta is a dream event for those looking for more than just a relaxing holiday.

Taking place over five days the annual Antigua Sailing Week involves a variety of courses off the south coast and will draw over a 100 yachts of all sizes and descriptions.

Then on Saturday, Dockyard Day, the Antiguan flag is lowered to signal the end of Sailing Week, this then turns into a fun and friendly Caribbean street party where everyone joins together to enjoy live music, dancing and the fantastic local street food.
