The Middle East and Africa region leads the world in superyacht demand.
More than half of the region’s ultra-high net worth individuals (UHNWI) likely to own or buy a superyacht.
The propensity to buy a superyacht among UHNWIs in the Middle East and Africa has increased to 51%, from 48% last year. This means that more than half the UHNWIs in the region are likely to own or buy a superyacht – the highest proportion in the world,”
With the global demand for superyachts increasing there is an all-time high in terms of numbers of UHNWIs.
Little wonder that the organisers of the 23rd edition of Dubai International Boat Show are getting excited.
Run by Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), the show will run this year from 3-7 with the aim of reinforcing Dubai’s status as one of the world’s leading luxury yacht destinations, with superyacht ownership continuing to rise.
