Aria Yachts in Turkey have chosen to sub contract the project management of two of their three yachts in build to the specialist team of Nart & Roe.
Husband and wife team Halit and Narten Roe are in partnership with Kivanc Nart and between them cover all disciplines.
Halit was for many years with the Turkish Navy as a marine and electrical engineer and was during an exchange programme working for many years with the US Navy. Narten, his wife holds a masters degree in interior architecture while Kivanc is a qualified naval architect.
Amongst the teams many successful contracts completed since they were formed in 1999 was the build of Anatolya at Turquoise yachts, the conversion of Blu d’Nimes and the build of the 65 metre Nora of Riad
They are now overseeing the build of:
- Project Cloud a 40 metre composite yacht
- Project Samurai a 60 metre steel hull with aluminium superstructure
Both vessels are due for delivery in the early summer of 2015
