Guests of The Wellesley, a boutique-grand hotel in London, will soon be able to enjoy the same luxury and service at sea onboard their own 29 metre super yacht based in the South of France.
Wellesley (ex New Life) built by the Falcon shipyard in 2001 can carry 12 guests and will be based in Malta
The hotel overlooks Hyde Park amidst the glamour of Knightsbridge, It is London’s first boutique-grand hotel; combining sophisticated luxury with captivating grandeur and uncompromising service. Home to four of London’s most exquisite and intimate new bars and restaurants, this art deco style hotel boasts the finest Italian food, outstanding service; stylish live music performances and a distinguished collection of the finest spirits and cigars.
Available for charter through Yacht Help Malta the yacht has been refitted by Amico in Genoa with works above and below deck. The decor by Fox Linton Associates is the same inspired art deco style seen in the sister hotel.
Contemporary entertainment and technology is seamlessly integrated into her golden era luxury, featuring bespoke handmade furniture, bevelled mirrors and stunning fashion photography from the 1920s and 1930s Vanity Fair and Vogue archives. The finish is further accentuated by the individually designed touches such as a bronze coffee table and humidor.
Cigar smoking is permitted on board the yacht
The main saloon is a generous entertaining space leading to the main dining area, and the staterooms are designed to combine comfort and modern luxury. The master cabin has a walk-in wardrobe, dressing table and king sized bed. The en-suite bathroom features Romeo and Juliet basins, St Laurent marble, Hermes amenities and gold finishes. There is also one VIP double stateroom and two twin cabins featuring Pullman bunks.
