Panama and Yet Another Superyacht Show

Yet another international boat show is to vie for the lucrative superyacht marketing dollar.  The inaugural Panama International Boat Show
Will run from June 20th until the 22ndat the Flamenco Marina on Flamenco Island in Panama.
Confirmed exhibitors to date include:
  • Sanlorenzo
  • HMY Yachts
  • Evermarine representing Benetti and Azimut
  • Quality Yachts representing Ferretti, Mochi Craft and Pershing,

Many exhibitors cite the growth of yachting in the region as the reason why they have made the decision to participate in the inaugural event.
Show organisers suggest “Panama, with its economic and political stability, favourable tax policies and its appeal to high net worth visitors is an excellent location for a boat show.”
With enthusiastic support from the Ministry of Tourism and the Maritime Administration, show organisers plan to cater to buyers from Panama, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Colombia, and Venezuela, among other countries in Central and South America.
Located near downtown Panama City, Flamenco Marina has a wide range of marina amenities, including 238 slips protected by two breakwaters, a dry-stack facility, 24-hour security, marine fire fighters on site, a fuel dock with low sulphur diesel and non-ethanol gasoline, disposal of foreign garbage, Wi-Fi, nine onsite restaurants, transportation assistance, fishing and private trip charter services, bilingual staff, and onsite government offices. A new section of the marina has been earmarked for the boat show.
