The latest data published shows that Fraser Yachts has once again secured by far the largest share of the superyacht market in 2013, and continues to increase the lead it has held over other yacht brokerage houses for the last four years.
The report by the industry’s leading source of statistical information shows that the company sold 50% more yachts than its closest competitor and closed 30% more deals than in 2012, a substantial increase compared to other brokerage houses.
The brokerage house has now represented over 200 buyers and sellers in yacht sales since 2009 when the data first started being accurately recorded.
The statistics also show that the total number of yachts sold in 2013 increased by over 30% compared to the number of yachts sold in 2012. This is by far the largest year on year increase since the recession hit and a very good sign for the industry as a whole.
The increase began after the the Monaco Yacht Show in September 2013.
In the last four months the company has sold 24 yachts, and in January alone 3 of the yachts we sold were in in-house deals, with the latest being the 60m Ulysses.
Fabio Ermetto, Chairman of Fraser Yachts commented, “We have a very strong sales team here and this is proven year after year by the statistics that are published by neutral sources. Our brokers expertise and inside knowledge, combined with our extensive database and marketing expertise leads to successful results time and again.”
