Boat International Media to Be Sold Again

Rumours about the impending disposal of Boat International Mediaby its owners August Equity have risen to the fore again.

Pembroke, a listed venture capital trust fund together with media specialists Lepe Partners are, reports say, poised to pay £10 million for the group that publishes

The magazines are available around the world and are also published in German, Chinese Russian and Arabic through franchised arrangements.
The company also publishes coffee table annuals including

Last sold in 2006 the company has in recent years made seen strong growth online and has made significant strides into the lucrative seminar and awards dinner markets

Pembroke was founded by the entrepreneur Peter Dubens. Other investors include super yacht owners; Sir Charles Dunstone, and Tara Getty who are expected to back the existing management team.
