Trimline Superyacht Interiors Refit the Interior of the Historic Yacht Shemara

Southampton based Trimline Superyacht Interiors is one of the many local companies chosen to carry out work on the super yacht; Shemara.

This 65 metre motor yacht, originally built in Southampton in the 30’s and previously owned by Sir and Lady Docker during the 1960’s, is being lovingly restored with no expense spared.
She is now owned by Sir Charles Dunstone and is being rebuilt at Trafalgar Wharf, near Portsmouth a site once occupied by the Vosper Thorneycroft Group the same firm that originally built the yacht.

Working closely with the project team they are set to refit Shemara’s crew areas, including cabins and mess areas, as well as the owners saloon, including features such as stone fireplaces and using, where possible, original materials salvaged from the yacht.
Gary Oliver, Managing Director of Trimline Superyacht Interiors said, “We are honoured to carry out work on such a beautiful and historic yacht, our talented team are doing this great yacht justice.

Shemara is due to be delivered in 2014, and once completed, will be used by her new owner as a support yacht for his Wally built racing sail boat Hamilton
