UK based galley specialists GN Espace have been awarded the contract to design, specify and supply the main Galley, Pantries and Laundry on the 88.8 metre Illusion yacht currently in build in China.
The design company has been involved with the project since its early stages, working closely with the yards experienced interiors team to identify the on-board needs, investigate the ‘food flows’ and, ultimately, to create a highly practical and totally functional ’Chef’s galley’.
This high profile yacht, a design collaboration between Azure Naval Architects / Rainsford Saunders and Sinot Design, was presented at the recent Monaco Yacht Show ahead of its delivery in early 2015.
Illusion is the largest Megayacht ever constructed in China and currently the world’s largest on spec yacht in build.
She is the showcase for the yacht builders objective who seek to to create a world class, competitive yacht-building business, specialising in the development, creation and marketing of 80-120 m super yachts.

As well as drawing on in-house expertise the company works together with Chefs, Restauranteurs and leading Equipment Manufacturers to design and supply galley and hospitality systems.
