Knowing which side your slice of bread is buttered on is as important in the super yacht marina business as any other.
Little wonder then that Porto Montenegro, the Mediterranean’s luxury yacht homeport and marina village, is to open its first ever international office outside of Montenegro – in Moscow.
It is dedicated to provide the existing Porto Montenegro homeowners based in Moscow, both international and local businessmen, with a physical space to host their own private meetings. In addition, it helps to develop the business in the most strategic country for the brand.
The choice of Moscow as the preferred city for the first ever office abroad was never in doubt for Porto Montenegro. This is a clear reflection of the commitment to the Russian market at a time when the whole project is entering a rapid growth phase, with a new hotel, residential building and over 500 berths all under construction is set to become one of the leading marinas of the Mediterranean area upon completion new 170 berths in 2014 and the Moscow Office is going to play a major role in this endeavour.
“One of our main investors is from Russia so we have an ongoing connection with that market”, comments Matthew Morley, Senior Brand & Marketing Manager at Porto Montenegro. “Our intention is to host small gatherings in the office in future to introduce Porto Montenegro to new clients in the most effective way possible – by offering them an insight into the interiors they can expect to find when they eventually visit us in person”.
