Formerly the Chief Operating Officer and Operations Director at Camper & Nicholsons Marinas James Beaver has left the firm to join Moffatt & Nichol’s a firm that operates from 30 offices throughout North America, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and the Pacific Rim. Since 1945, the firm has helped create more than 100,000 marina berths and over 50 miles of piers and wharfs.
He joins the London office as the Director of Marina Commercial Services for the firm’s urban waterfronts and marinas practice.
James has over 24 years of experience with marina operations, new development, redevelopment, financing and due diligence coupled with extensive experience in the development and letting of marina related
real estate.
In previous roles, he was a member of the management team responsible for the development of a 600 berth marina used to host sailing events for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
He also played a managing role in the redevelopment and property construction at East Cowes Marina in Isle of Wight, United Kingdom. More recently, James worked in the collaborations with Yas Marina, home to the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix.
