Flashes of lightening and the cracks of thunder and heralded what was to become a washout of a good potential racing on Day 2 of the Perini Navi Cup.
As the storm clouds gathered over Porto Fino there was a sense of Deja Vous about today that reminded us of the last Perini Navi event.
That same, been there, done that feeling was heightened when we realised that today we were to sail aboard Parsifal IV a yacht that was, when we last sailed on board her in the last Perini Navi cup, called Selene.
On that occasion it was flakey winds caused the race organiser to cancel the race half way through the course

With racing postponed on several occasions it was finally cancelled and the yachts stream back into port to berth stern to the dock by 14:30
