Chris Cecil-Wright Sets Up New Brokerage House

Having spent twenty years buying, selling and building some of the largest and most innovative yachts in the world Chris Cecil-Wright has left Edmiston and set up on his own.

With offices in London and Monaco, the aim of the new company Cecil Wright & Partners is to work with clients to offer a discreet service in the sale, charter and new construction of large yachts.

Among his first tasks was to announce his appointment as the new Central Agent for the sale of the 55m De Vries Feadship, Issana. Built in 2005, she he says, “In first class cosmetic and mechanical condition and ready to cruise immediately.”

I am fanatical about the high level of detail, the ability to push the boundaries in terms of design and the constant quest to achieve the ultimate balance between form and function. I’ve also come to know that size isn’t everything and yachting is essentially about people.

He is joined by his PA Maria Botwright, Charter Brokers Eugenia Fomicheva and  Claire van der Vorm along with Henry Smith on the sales team.
