Super Yacht App for iPad and iPhone is a Runaway Success

An App about super yachts has become a huge success with thousands of downloads in just the first two months
The Superyacht Spotter App is designed to turn your iPhone (or iPad) into a super yacht resource.
Superyacht Spotter enthusiasts from around the world can add photos and report geographical locations of the yachts.
The app features  “Yacht Cards”, a resource of Superyacht information for the community. The cards include the vessel specifications, photos and a history of her reported sightings.

Brandes has an unwavering passion for super yachts and the world surrounding them. It was this desire to know and understand the super yachts that he loves that led him to the seed of the idea that would turn into Super yacht Spotter.
He realised that aside from quenching his curiosity, an online database containing statistics, latest positions and crew arrangements of the biggest super yachts in the world would be a useful and interesting tool for the whole industry.
Superyacht Spotter has plenty of potential for future development. The app has only been available for two months and already over one thousand users have downloaded it. Months or years down the line, the app will boast a significant database of information valuable to other super yacht captains, crew and owners.

Brandes raises the idea of the app becoming a method of communication between these people, not only for pleasure, but also for professional reasons, such as recruiting crewmembers, recommending itineraries, and even brokerage
