Bertrand Vogèle, CEO of YPI Steps Down

Bertrand Vogèle, the CEO of YPI is to step down after 4 years, as the parent company, Barry Rogliano Salles (BRS), confirms the purchase of the last remaining shares to become outright owner of YPI.

His place will be taken by Philippe Hetland Brault, a long-standing director and shareholder of BRS
As CEO he will be working alongside BRS General Secretary, Jean-Philippe Roussard and the team of YPI directors including:
  • Russell Crump, Sales Director
  • Frédéric Laporte, Director of Yacht Management
  • Ian Petts, Group Financial Director
  • Laurence Reymann, Director of YPI Crew

From its early beginnings some 41 years ago as a three-person office in Brighton, England, YPI has come a long way.  It now has offices in the UK, France, Monaco and Asia with its parent company having branches in 10 countries throughout the world.
In 2008 the 157-year old French shipbroking firm Barry Rogliano Salles acquired a controlling interest when founders Alex Braden and Mike Evert Jones retired.
