The yacht is currently featured in the latest James Bond movie Skyfall filmed in picturesque Turkish bays of Fethiye. 8 days were spent shooting on board though no one slept on the yacht.
A dinner for 20 guests featuring Turkish cuisine was held aboard the yacht. Amongst the guest were Michael Wilson and Barbara Broccoli (producers of the James Bond films), Dennis Gassner, and Daniel Craig.
The cabins aboard Regina were used as the backstage for the actors and actresses while the saloon was turned into the bedroom. One of the bathrooms was used for the romantic scene in the shower between 007 (Daniel Craig) and Severine (Bérénice Marlohe).
