Last year Vripack the Dutch Naval Architects celebrated its 50th anniversary by releasing 50 pairs of wooden sailing shoes at the Monaco Yacht Show. One of them has already traveled thousands of sea miles across the Mediterranean on the bridge of E&E.
This year they produced another clever idea and scattered hundreds of model boats around the show.
Cunningly disguised as a paper boat created by a child practising origami this version is in fact a money box and is used to get you to click onto the companies No Nonsense Web site.
But quips Marnix Hoekstra and his fellow director Bart Bouwhuis this Vripak boat is one that without doubt you can get back every penny that you put into it.
