The all new 55 metre Amels 55-metre yacht, Step One, has completed sea trials to the full satisfaction of Lloyds Register and Moran Yachts & Ship, the Owner’s Representative.
The 660gt motor yacht is the first in line of the 180 Limited Editions semi custom range, and could well be on display at the upcoming Monaco Yacht Show in September.
The yachts exterior is by Tim Heywood and her full custom interior by Laura Sessa.
Amels project manager Roeland Berrevoets commented: “This design has now been tried and tested, which means that there were no surprises. Everybody went home smiling.”
Amels has 12 new construction projects and two major refits underway, all exterior designs are by Tim Heywood, with several owners opting for a fully customised interior design.
