A panel of glittering names from the world of superyachting have been invited to participate in the 2012 Asia Boating Awards.

Hosted by Asia-Pacific Boating and China Boating magazines, Asia Boating Awards is today’s most acknowledged and prestige award in the yachting industry of Asia-Pacific region.
This year, awards have refined down to 19 categories. First a public nominations process selects the shortlist then the judges are given detailed and comprehensive pack detailing each of the shortlisted boats of service.
The Categories consist of:
- Best Asian Yacht Builder (30m and up)
- Best Asian Yacht Builder (15m to 30m)
- Best Asian Built Yacht
- Best Custom Built Yacht
- Best Semi Custom Built Yacht (30m and up)
- Best Production Motor Yacht (24m to 40m)
- Best Production Motor Yacht (15m to 24m)
- Best Production Sailing Yacht (15m to 30m)
- Best Production Sailing Yacht (up to 15m)
- Asian Marina of the Year
- Asian Yacht Club of the Year
- Asian Regatta of the Year
- Asia-based Charter Yacht of the Year
- Personality of the Year
- Print Ad of the Year
- Best Yacht Design of the Year
- Best Yacht Designer in Asia of the Year
- Best Asia-based Charter Company
- Best Brand Presence in Asia
The result will be announced during the 2012 Asia Boating Awards ceremony on 10th May 2012 at Grand Hyatt Hong Kong.
Following after the event, the result will be published in both Asia-Pacific Boating and China Boating Jul/Aug 2012 issue.
