Captains of Supperyachts cruising Grenada may like to know that they can now drop anchor off the Mount Hartman Bay Estate, an exclusive eight-room retreat nestled in lush tropical grounds on its own peninsular with its own private golden-sand beach.
The boutique hotel has an award-winning unique design, fantastic views over the bay and surrounding nature reserve from the suites and infinity pool, and its restaurant serves some of the best cuisine on the island. It’s also perfectly located to discover all the ‘Spice Isle’ has to offer and for those who like to venture ashore
Mount Hartman Bay is ideal for cruising and guests can visit the underwater sea sculptures at Molinere Bay, or a relaxing trip to nearby Hog Island for a beach barbeque as well as go ashore to use the facilities of the hotel.
Set on its own peninsular with a private beach and nestled in verdant grounds, Mount Hartman Bay Estate looks across the bay, protected by coral reefs, to a lush nature reserve.
Mount Hartman Bay Estate is also available for Charter style rental on an exclusive basis, accommodating up to 16 guests. An additional property, the Beach House, is also located on the Estate and can be rented as a villa with service providing a further four enormous, luxurious en-suite guestrooms. Completely self-contained, the Beach House has its own swimming pool, family room and indoor/outdoor kitchen.
The hotel also incorporates a restaurant and all-day bar, an infinity pool with a wide decking area and comfortable loungers, a Jacuzzi spa, a gym complete with personal trainer on request, and a library stocked with books, Playstation games and DVDs.
From here, Captains can organise guest activities such as deep sea fishing, diving, dolphin and whale watching and sailing, while on-land activities include golf, treks in the sky forest, a visit to the River Antoine rum distillery, touring the island’s beautiful waterfalls, visiting the Belmont Estate cocoa plantation, and river tubing with a picnic lunch.
Wining and Dining is a highlight at Mount Hartman Bay Estate with the best cuisine on the island created by Chef Roger. Not for nothing is Grenada known as the Spice Isle.
It has:
Native fruit and vegetables such as
- Passion fruit
- Coconuts
- Bananas
- Mangos
- Callaloo
- Dasheen
- Almonds and more all grow on the Estate.
Chef Roger utilises all these plus the freshest local ingredients from the markets and the pick of the catch from the local fisherman to create culinary delights for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks in-between that change daily.
