Yet More High Flyers Leave CNI

One in a line of high profile people leaving Camper and Nicholsons International recently, Sonia Palfrey has joined Burgess after 9 years as Director of Charter Management at CNI.


Sonia has more than 30 years of experience in the global superyacht industry in a career that has spanned roles at Bartram & Brakenhoff, her own management business and joint ownership of clearing house V.E.B. Nicholson and Sons.


Sonia has been active in almost all the major global prestigious yachting events and regattas.


In addition to work on the America’s Cup, she has been directly involved in the Antigua Charter Yacht Show and the women’s J22 sailing programme based at Ida Lewis Yacht Club in Newport, Rhode Island.

At Burgess she will report to the Director of Charter Management Neil Moore, She joins the company’s Charter Management team in Monaco at a time of evolving expansion.


The company now has over 80 impressive superyachts under charter management, an increase of 60 per cent over the past three years.
