Bob Saxon Says Superyacht Sales Are Skyrocketing

Introducing a company newsletter, Bob Saxon now the President of International Yacht Collection (IYC), reports that the second quarter of 2011 saw sales skyrocket with 11 yacht transactions conducted by his brokerage team.

Additionally, with the sales of yacht charter vacations on an upswing and several new additions to the yacht management fleet, Saxon believes that the indications are that the tide may have changed.

IYC had reported recently that the Palm Beach Boat Show response demonstrated a new vitality and vigor on the docks with many well-qualified prospects visiting our display and inspecting our centrals.

Saxon said, “It’s apparent that the energy was sustained and we are now seeing the results manifested in increased activity in all market sectors.”

Looking ahead toward the Monaco Yacht Show in September, IYC will have two major yachts on display alongside Trinity.

Saxon says, “Monaco appears to be shaping up once again as a premier yachting event with great demand for exhibit and in-water space; it’s hard to find a better venue than Monaco to showcase our products.”

Close on the heels of Monaco is the largest in-water boat show in the world, the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show during the last few days of October.

IYC will have a significant presence with a dozen premier yachts on display for sale and/or charter.

Brokers, managers and charter specialists are enthusiastic for what should prove to be one of the best Fort Lauderdale shows in years.
