Katie Macpherson Wray hails from North Carolina and graduated from Greensboro Day School and American University before being employed by the International Yacht Collection. She is married to Shane Wray the motor yacht captain.
Talking to SuperYacht World she said, “One of my favourite areas in the Mediterranean would have to be the Amalfi Coast stretching from Sorrento around to Capri and over to Positano. The scenery is breathtaking whether you have a view from the sea or from the land looking out over the sea. Summer is the best time to visit with a lot of brightly coloured flowers, sunshine, fresh fruit and vegetables ripe for the picking.
The food is so fresh and bountiful with flavour that you may not want to leave! There are plenty of activities to choose from including water sports, a fantastic array of shopping from designer labels to local artists, sightseeing, restaurants, and a great culture.
It is amazing to see the nearby ruins of Pompeii and how a culture was so innovative with their designs and plans for the city, and many of which have been implemented into our lives today.”
