Sanlorenzo Wins Nautical Design Award in Miami

Massimo Perotti, President of superyacht builder Sanlorenzo, has been presented with an award for developed American market by founding Sanlorenzo of the Americas, with its three locations promoting the “Made in Italy” brand.
The award was made during the 23rd Miami Yacht & Brokerage Show 2011, by the Italian Trade Commission, in collaboration with UCINA (Italian Marine Industry Association)
The Nautical Design Awards are instituted by ADI (Association for the Industrial Design) an organization responsible for the development of industrial design.
Sanlorenzo shipyards were established in Viareggio in 1958
Today the company operates as  two divisions: the Ameglia Division, for the production of fibreglass motor yachts ranging between 62 and 108 ft., and the Viareggio Division, for the production of superyacht in composite material with semi‐displacement hull from 92 to 122 ft. and super yachts in metal (aluminium and steel), from 40 to 50 metres over.
