Superyacht sales brokers Matt Albert at YPI and Kevin Merrigan at Northrop & Johnson, have concluded the sale of the 22 year old Monte Carlo which had been on the market for US$5,900,000
Built in 1988 by Amels this 40 metre full displacement yacht was the subject of a multi-million dollar refit carried out in 2006. A more recent but smaller refit was concluded in 2008 when new engines, service batteries and a new SeaTel SAT TV were fitted. MCA compliant, she completed her last 5-year Commercial Class Survey in 2008.
With a proven trans-Atlantic capability and range, she quite simply offered good value and pedigree at a sixth of the cost of building new.”
