Two of the world’s top computer gurus have recently received their own very special super yachts from the Royal Huisman Shipyard in Vollenhove, Holland
Bill Joy, a co-founder of Sun Microsystems and now a Silicon Valley venture capitalist has taken delivery of the 58 metre ketch Ethereal, while Netscape co-founder Jim Clark sailed off in Hanuman, a 42 metre replica J-class racer Endeavour II whose design dates back to the 1930s.
Hanuman is heading across the Atlantic. But there is every hope that Ethereal will stay in Europe to make a debut at the Monaco Yacht Show in the Principality in September.

Dear Michael,
Stumbled on your blog this morning, I used to work with you in Plymouth as a deckie. My name is Matthew Kotze. Not sure if you remember me?
As planned I started up my own yacht delivery business Thumbs Up Sailing Yacht Delivery
I love the look of Endeavour II, The J’s truly do have their own class!
