Henri-Lloyd has become the official clothing partner of Oyster Yachts. The agreement unites two iconic British brands with strong reputations for quality, innovation and offshore sailing.

Together, they bring more than a century of marine heritage to the partnership. Both companies share a commitment to craftsmanship, performance and adventure.

Henri-Lloyd will supply technical performance clothing for Oyster employees. The company will also create exclusive branded merchandise for Oyster owners and crew. As a result, sailors will have premium clothing for life both afloat and ashore.

Both Built for Bluewater Sailing

Oyster Yachts has earned worldwide recognition for its bluewater cruising yachts. During the past 50 years, the company has refined its designs while maintaining its reputation for quality.

Every Oyster yacht is handcrafted in the United Kingdom. Their robust construction and offshore performance encourage owners to sail with confidence across the world’s oceans.

Oyster owners have already logged more than 20 million bluewater sailing miles. They have also completed over 100 circumnavigations, proving the yachts in some of the world’s toughest conditions.

Looking ahead, the 2028 Oyster World Rally will feature 30 yachts. The fleet will cover more than 27,000 nautical miles during a 16-month global voyage.

The Legacy Continues

Henri-Lloyd launched in Manchester in 1963. Since then, the brand has specialised in weatherproof clothing for sailors and explorers.

Its original mission focused on creating the world’s best protective sailing apparel. Today, that pioneering approach continues through technical innovation and sustainable manufacturing.

Supporting the Next Generation of Sailors

Both companies also invest in growing the sailing community.

Oyster recently launched its Bluewater Academy. The programme offers expert-led training and practical experiences for sailors of every level.

Courses include the Women at the Helm sailing experience in Palma. The academy also runs a Weather at Sea weekend in Southampton.

Meanwhile, Henri-Lloyd supports newcomers through its Sail Free initiative. The programme gives participants free access to selected RYA courses.

These opportunities help sailors progress from their first experience afloat through Competent Crew and Day Skipper qualifications.

The partnership highlights the shared values of two respected British marine brands. Together, they aim to support sailors wherever their next adventure takes them.
