Arctic Cruise Savings and Fuel Price Guarantee for 2026

Guests Can Save Up to £4,325 on Luxury Arctic Expedition Cruises.  Swan Hellenic has launched a new price guarantee across its entire fleet for 2026 voyages.

The cruise line will absorb any future fuel cost increases. As a result, guests can book with added financial confidence.  The offer also includes the new Arctic Uncovered promotion. Guests can save up to £4,325 per person on selected last-minute Arctic sailings.

The savings apply to voyages aboard boutique ice-class ships SH Diana and SH Vega. Both vessels will return to the Arctic for an expanded Summer 2026 season.

The line still has stateroom availability across 18 cultural expedition cruises. These voyages combine immersive exploration with relaxed luxury experiences.

Offer Includes Extra Perks

The Arctic Uncovered promotion delivers several added benefits for guests.

Passengers receive discounted cruise fares, USD 300 onboard credit, and a complimentary Gold Wi-Fi Package upgrade. Swan Hellenic also offers group pricing on request.  The company expects strong demand for the remaining departures. Therefore, early booking remains highly recommended.

Explore Remote Northern Destinations

The Summer 2026 programme features voyages lasting between seven and 14 nights.

Six cruises operate aboard SH Diana, while SH Vega will sail 12 itineraries.  Guests will explore destinations across Norway, Iceland, Svalbard, Greenland and Canada.  Travellers can expect towering glaciers, drifting icebergs and dramatic fjords throughout the season. Wildlife encounters may include polar bears, whales, musk oxen and Arctic birdlife.

The itineraries also highlight history and indigenous cultures. Guests will learn about Inuit communities, Norse settlers and famous polar explorers.

One historical focus includes the tragic 1845 Franklin expedition aboard HMS Erebus and HMS Terror. Both ships became trapped in Arctic ice during the search for the Northwest Passage.

SH Vega Arctic Highlights

SH Vega’s season begins on 18 May 2026 with an 11-night voyage from Halifax to Reykjavik.

The cruise visits destinations across Canada, Greenland and Iceland. Highlights include St. John’s, Witless Bay Ecological Reserve and Greenland’s Norse ruins at Qassiarsuk.  Another standout itinerary sails from Iceland to Norway’s Lofoten Islands. Guests can enjoy whale watching, waterfall visits and RIB boat adventures.

Further voyages explore Svalbard in depth, including dedicated expedition cruises from Longyearbyen. These sailings feature Zodiac excursions and wildlife encounters deep inside the Arctic Circle.  Later in the season, SH Vega will operate several Northern Lights cruises from Greenland. These voyages combine remote expedition experiences with opportunities to witness the aurora borealis.

Svalbard and Greenland Adventures

SH Diana begins her Arctic season on 3 June 2026 with a 10-night Norway and Svalbard voyage from Bergen.

The cruise explores Norway’s coastline before heading north to Bear Island and Svalbard.  Balcony stateroom prices have dropped from £9,825 to £5,500 per guest. This represents a saving of £4,325.  SH Diana will also operate four seven-night round-trip Svalbard cruises during June and July 2026.

The ship’s final Arctic voyage explores Iceland and East Greenland. Guests will visit Scoresbysund, Kong Oscar Fjord and the bird-rich island of Vigur.

Extended Voyages

Many itineraries can combine into longer expedition journeys. Swan Hellenic actively supports guests planning extended Arctic adventures.  The cruise line continues to focus on cultural exploration, expert lectures and immersive expedition experiences throughout the region.
