2028 Winter and Spring Season Takes Shape

Crystal has unveiled its first wave of 2028 winter and spring itineraries aboard Crystal Serenity. The programme focuses on warm-water cruising before transitioning to a spring Atlantic crossing.

Sailings span the Caribbean, Central America and the Amazon River. The season then ends with a transatlantic voyage to the Azores.

Relaxed Exploration Remains Central

Each itinerary emphasises longer port stays and regionally inspired shore experiences. Guests can enjoy generous personal space and Crystal’s signature calm onboard atmosphere.

The season concludes in Lisbon, where Crystal Serenity will enter scheduled dry dock for enhancements.

These itineraries complement the previously announced 2028 World Cruise aboard Crystal Symphony.

A Thoughtful Approach to Itinerary Design

Mario Parodi, Crystal’s Vice President of Itinerary Planning, highlighted the company’s planning philosophy. He said the 2028 voyages balance cultural depth, natural beauty and unhurried discovery.

The itineraries connect the Amazon, Caribbean and Azores through meaningful, slow-paced travel.

January: Caribbean Beginnings

January opens with round-trip sailings from Fort Lauderdale. These voyages explore warm Caribbean and Central American destinations.

Ports include the British Virgin Islands, Jamaica, Mexico, Cartagena and Puerto Limon.

February: Into the Amazon

The 25-day Amazon voyage continues in February with calls at Manaus and remote river communities. Guests can explore rainforest biodiversity and local cultures.

Travellers can also combine sailings to create the Caribbean Circle Grand Voyage. This extended journey covers 14 Caribbean islands and five Central American countries.

March: Caribbean and Central America

March sailings visit Cartagena, Roatán and Belize. The itineraries balance island exploration with relaxed days at sea.

This pacing allows guests to enjoy both coastal discovery and onboard comfort.

April: Azores and Atlantic Crossing

April begins with late-season Caribbean calls, including Puerto Rico and the Bahamas. The itinerary then crosses the Atlantic to the Azores.

This sailing coincides with the spring migration of baleen whales. The voyage ends in Lisbon.
