National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions is expanding its river cruise portfolio for the 2027–2028 season.
The new lineup covers Egypt, India, Vietnam, and Europe, offering returning favourites and new festive sailings.

In Europe, the Connect continues spring and summer cruises along Amsterdam’s canals and the French countryside.
Responding to strong demand, sister ship Evolve joins the fleet, introducing three Christmas and one holiday voyage.
Evolve extends the co-brand’s European programme into winter for the first time, expanding capacity for festive sailings.
Returning favourites
Returning favourites include Charaidew II on India’s Brahmaputra, The Jahan on the Mekong, and Oberoi Philae on the Nile.
The Nile voyages now include a stop at the newly opened Grand Egyptian Museum.
Each expedition is designed for immersive, intimate experiences, offering expert-led cultural and scientific guidance ashore and on board.

The fleet includes 22 state-of-the-art vessels, operating over 100 unique itineraries in more than 70 countries across seven continents.
The co-brand merges National Geographic’s expertise in exploration with Lindblad’s modern expedition cruising legacy.
“Our river journeys invite guests to explore unhurried, intimate, and deeply connected with each destination,” said CEO Natalya Leahy.
The 2027–2028 season reflects a continued commitment to curated itineraries, exclusive cultural access, and expert-led discovery.
New voyages expand the portfolio further, with itineraries from the Azores to the Arctic, building on recent growth.
Leahy added, “Exploration is not just about where we travel, but how deeply we connect with places and cultures.”
