Arbatax Park Resort Wins Big at 2025 World Travel Awards

Arbatax Park Resort & Spa has triumphed again at the 2025 World Travel Awards, known as the “Oscars of Tourism.”

The resort secured Europe’s Leading Eco Resort and Italy’s Leading Eco Resort titles for the seventh consecutive year.

Winners were announced on October 22 during the prestigious Europe Gala Ceremony at Forte Village Resort, Sardinia.

A Living Laboratory of Sustainability

Located in the heart of Ogliastra, Arbatax Park Resort is more than a holiday destination.

It operates as a living laboratory of environmental and social sustainability.

Every project reflects a clear goal: preserve, protect, and regenerate the surrounding ecosystem.

Innovation blends seamlessly with nature, creating a genuine model of responsible tourism.

The resort runs initiatives like waste separation, composting, and rainwater recovery.

Solar panels now power much of the property, reducing its environmental footprint.

One of its most inspiring projects, “Clean Up Arbatax,” uses a historic fishing boat, M/Y Stella.

Now fully electric, the vessel silently cleans local seabeds, collecting marine debris across Ogliastra’s coast.

This initiative earned the resort Best Eco-Boat in the Mediterranean at the Venice Boat Show.

Where Culture and Community Thrive

Arbatax Park Resort doesn’t stop at sustainability—it celebrates Sardinian culture too.

Guests can join local events in the Bellavista Nature Park, from running races to open-air concerts.

Culinary evenings, like “A chent’annos… a tavola!”, showcase authentic Ogliastra flavours and traditions.

The summer music and arts festival “InCantos” highlights both established and emerging Sardinian musicians.

These experiences strengthen the resort’s connection with the local community and regional heritage.

Nature, Wellness, and the Blue Zone Lifestyle

Spanning more than 60 hectares, the resort lies within one of the world’s five Blue Zones.

Here, people are known for their longevity and vibrant health.

Arbatax Park is the only resort built entirely within a natural reserve — the Bellavista Nature Park.

Guests stroll through trails surrounded by Mediterranean flora and fauna, with wild deer and peacocks roaming freely.

For ultimate relaxation, the Bellavista Wellness & Spa Centre offers 2,000 square metres of tranquil space.

It features hydrotherapy pools, steam baths, and treatments inspired by water’s healing properties.

Visitors can unwind on the resort’s private coves and beaches, including Le Palme, Cala Moresca, and Baia dei Cottage.

Each offers crystal-clear waters and peaceful surroundings, perfect for swimming or snorkelling.

Sustainable Luxury at Its Finest

Founded in 2010 by Giorgio and Angela Mazzella, Arbatax Park Resort embodies nature, tradition, and sustainability.

It continues to prove that true luxury lies in harmony — not excess.
